fix the makefile syntax which didn't work on my mac (maybe that's because I use zsh...)
bump black to a higher version to fix a click import error (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/71673404/importerror-cannot-import-name-unicodefun-from-click)
remove the very big iris data file from version control (what's the best way to deal with this ?)
